Fresh Red and Green.
At Byodoin Temple, Uji city, Kyoto-fu, Japan.
There are two kinds of maple trees in this shot: One which has green leaves for most of the warmer part of the year before turning red; The other one which the leaves stay various shades of red for most of the warmer part of the year. This photo was taken when both trees had fresh leaves on them for the spring.
It is a condition of entry of Byodoin Temple that any photos taken there are not used for commercial purposes. The funny thing is: an image of this temple is on the 10 yen coin, and that's being used for commercial purposes every day.
